Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. The father of her is Nigerian and Swiss and her mother is English. She attended The Brit School when she was 14. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received the BA in acting. As a student at the academy and performing in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career through the film Storm Damage. Since then she's made guest appearances in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she was the lead in Elisha, an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in the six episodes from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, she got Bambi's part on the ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was a star in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her theatre credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe had her official US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons, the show was announced late May 2013 that she would depart the series following a guest appearance in the first episode of the third season. In the TV series Salem the actress played Tituba between 2014 and the year 2016. In June 2012, she married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he is also a part of the cast on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her parents Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's four brothers, who were all extremely athletic, played hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summer months, which means that she grew up playing in baseball and arenas. Ashley could never walk, but she danced. When she turned two-and-a-half she began Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley discovered a love for dancing when she began Baby Ballet. Ashley performed in competitive ballet, jazz and tap in high divisions. The top soloist at important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
