Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy grew up on the 16th of April 1996 on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English descendant is her mother. Her mother is of Spanish origin. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. The family she grew up with was within Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 years old before they relocated to Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy stated that moving was traumatic as she refused to take classes in English in the hope of return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after switching from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in various productions. At 16, she left school in order to explore acting as a profession. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her dream came true when she was given an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
